Job Description
Senior Manager, Commercial Finance Americas at Bakelite to create a better tomorrow with sustainable and innovative chemistry today. Provide financial analysis to support business decision and performance monitoring, guidance related to sales pricing and margin and insights on markets. Lead the financial reporting, analysis and planning activities for the Americas region and partner mainly with business director and his/her team, supply chain, R&D and procurement organizations to deliver profitable growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
  • MBA in Accounting/Finance/Analytics preferred
  • 7+ years’ experience in financial reporting, including management reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting within a manufacturing environment. Chemical manufacturing background a plus
  • Strong, established financial analysis skills and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent Analytical skills, ability to read and translate data into information
  • Self-starter with ability to complete projects start-to-finish
  • Must be trustworthy with confidential information
  • Strong communication skills; must be able to work effectively with peers and all levels of Company management
  • Team player with ability to interact effectively with cross functional teams
  • Proactive and well organized
  • Consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling capabilities
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP a plus) and CPM (OneStream a plus)
