Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Field Safety and Health manages the Radiological Control Programs for assigned facilities and/or areas, ensuring the radiological health of employees, the public, and the environment. Provides management oversight to ensure adherence to DOE, regulatory, and/or company rules and regulations.

What You Will Do

Manages the facility's Radiation Protection Program, provides leadership and direction to managers, professionals, and nonexempt personnel, and implements Site and DOE level policies through formulation and implementation of facility-specific plans and procedures.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field, with a minimum of four years of progressive experience in the field, including a minimum of four years of nuclear experience. Demonstrated supervisory experience and in-depth knowledge of regulations and requirements pertaining to radiation and health physics are preferred.
