Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Scientific Communications & Engagement Obesity and Related Conditions Global Publication Lead, is accountable for developing and executing comprehensive, high-impact scientific publication, communication and customer engagement strategies in alignment with product and therapeutic area objectives.

Key responsibilities include strategic planning and oversight, publications and scientific exchange, operational excellence and innovation, and leadership and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree
  • 2 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience
  • Proven experience in publication strategy, publication development, and vendor management in the biopharmaceutical industry, and/or clinical or research in the therapeutic area
  • Experience in publication planning, publications guidelines and transparency standards (e.g., ICMJE, current Good Publication Practice (GPP) Guidelines GPP)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Experience in multi-channel scientific platforms and digital engagement capabilities at a pharma company or at a digital agency primarily or exclusively serving pharma companies
  • Artificial Intelligence literacy and digital fluency
