Senior Manager of Engineering

Perrigo is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager of Engineering to lead the engineering function within a highly regulated GMP manufacturing environment supporting infant formula production.

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the site leadership team, partnering closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations while supporting long-term business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field required, with 10+ years of experience
• Demonstrated success leading engineering teams within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations, FDA requirements, food safety systems, quality management systems, and validation practices
• Experience leading capital projects from concept through implementation
• Working knowledge of automation and control systems is preferred
• Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
• Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, capital investments, and resource allocation
• Exceptional project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead in fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, CMMS, ERP and Microsoft Suite systems
