Senior Manager, Package Development (onsite in Oxnard)

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in packaging development, preferably in cosmetics, beauty, or CPG.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials (plastics, glass, metal, paperboard) and manufacturing processes.
• Proven experience managing complex product launches and cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of testing protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Experience with sustainability initiatives and eco-conscious packaging solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Experience working with global suppliers and international markets.
• Familiarity with cosmetics-specific requirements (e.g., compatibility with formulas, dispensing systems).
• Background in both mass and prestige beauty segments.
• Experience with contract manufacturers (CMs) and turnkey suppliers.
• Strategic thinking with strong execution skills
• Creative problem-solving and innovation mindset
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
