Job Description
Powell is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Northlake, Illinois. The Manufacturing Engineer designs and improves processes and procedures used for the manufacturing of Powell engineered to order products. This position is required to identify and implement processes that improve the safety, quality, and operating efficiency in a manner that supports the objectives of the Business Unit.

Requirements

  • Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout
  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods and testing finished-product and process capabilities
