Role OverviewA Sr. Test Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing the tests that ensure the quality and the functionality of Saft's product. Test engineers participate in all phases of the testing program, from designing the test parameters to troubleshooting errors, and writing up final test procedures.
What You Will Do
Meet with the product design team to determine product testing parameters, write test plans and create test cases for the product, conduct quality assurance and design performance tests using testing procedures, and troubleshoot any errors.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be a US citizen or green card holder, with 7-10 years of experience as a Manufacturing Test Engineer, and familiarity with testing tools including Apache, Selenium, JMeter, TestStand, or LabVIEW.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering
- 7-10 years previous work experience as a Manufacturing Test Engineer
- Familiarity with testing tools including Apache, Selenium, JMeter, TestStand, or LabVIEW
- Knowledge of diagramming software including Gliffy, Microsoft Viso, and AutoCAD
- Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures
- Experience with VBA and Python
- Good critical thinking skills
- Ability to project manage
- High-level technical writing skills
