Role Overview

The Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Insights and Analytics-Orthopedics will be responsible for delivering market intelligence and business insights to DePuy Synthes (DS) with a focus on supporting senior franchise leadership. This role will work with platform teams and require a high degree of business insight, agility, and understanding, and be able to proactively recommend tools and techniques to support modeling and forecasting.

What You Will Do

Develop and maintain robust global market models, build and refine granular sub-segment models, own end-to-end market forecasting and analytics, drive competitive intelligence and earnings analysis initiatives, and lead secondary research programs to synthesize country, regional, and global-level market intelligence.

Requirements

  • BS or BA in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, finance or related field
  • MBA or MS is preferred
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in modeling, competitive intelligence, secondary market research, forecasting, strategic insights, business analytics, finance or a related field
  • Experience in the medical technology, hospital specialty, or healthcare field is required
  • Consistent track record of working in a dynamic environment requiring collaboration, influencing, and initiative is needed
  • Ability to understand, translate and integrate marketplace data and secondary data tools into actionable insights to drive decision-making is required
  • Demonstrated success in creative problem solving and team partnership is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, and analytical tools is required
