Senior Material Handler

The Senior Material Handler supports daily warehouse operations across Receiving, Inventory Control, Shipping, and general Warehouse activities while working under the direction of the Receiving and Warehouse Group Lead. This role serves as a key operational contributor and floor-level leader, helping ensure materials flow efficiently, accurately, and safely throughout the facility.

What You Will Do

Operating propane and/or electric forklift vehicles, assisting in inventory cycle counts, material preparation, and material handling, and ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires consistent physical activity throughout the shift, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials weighing up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with team assistance. Ability to work in hot, humid, or cold environments depending on warehouse conditions.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Have and maintain valid Driver’s License
• Minimum 1 year of experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping, or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve root causes systematically
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to maintain integrity, confidentiality, and a clear vision of business needs
• Works well in a team environment with a diverse workforce
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
