Role OverviewJoin HDR's Power Generation team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support power and energy projects. You will work with a multi-discipline team to provide mechanical engineering support for detailed design and owner's engineer projects. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with utility-scale power generation systems and equipment.
What You Will Do
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will coordinate with the project mechanical team, monitor and communicate project status, and provide mechanical engineering support for detailed design and owner's engineer projects. You will also lead design projects, develop construction drawings, and perform pipe stress analyses.

Requirements
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain reciprocity
- Previous experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office as well as standard Power Market Sector design software
