Role OverviewThis role will work on major systems, equipment, and plant processes in the nuclear power industry, specifically on nuclear power uprate projects. The position requires a strong academic background and interest in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry and experience with nuclear power uprates and/or turbine retrofit projects.
What You Will Do
The responsibilities of this role include developing and leading licensing basis system and component evaluations, performing consulting-level work for power uprates, preparing and reviewing calculations related to heat balances, and preparing task reports and equipment evaluations. The role also involves interfacing with clients and project teams to present technical discussions and project status.

Requirements
- BSME from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program
- 7+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry
- Experience with nuclear power uprates and/or turbine retrofit projects

- Proficiency with MS Office applications
