Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our NYC office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience designing various facilities for commercial, industrial, municipal, institutional, and governmental projects. The role will involve leading projects, working with and mentoring junior staff, and meeting with clients to discuss project matters.

Key responsibilities will include planning and preparing HVAC designs, calculations, reports, equipment selection, and specification writing for building projects. The candidate will also lead projects, work with and mentor junior staff, and meet with clients to discuss project matters.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- PE license required
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant design experience
- Proficiency in mechanical designs with 3D Revit modeling, energy and load modeling/calculation software, report writing, and application of the building and Mechanical code
- Understanding of ASHRAE, NFPA, and building codes and standards
- Competent in Microsoft Office including Words and Excel
