Role OverviewThe Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. This role will work with production, operations, and management teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and support projects. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will also lead the mechanical maintenance crew in the absence of the supervisor and oversee contractors.
What You Will Do
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules, diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, recommend and implement upgrades or modifications to improve equipment performance and reliability, and maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 2-6 years of experience working in an industrial mill as a Mechanical/Maintenance Engineer
- Maintenance experience in industrial/process plant environment
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization, including the management committee and senior leaders
