What You Will Do
Design HVAC and mechanical systems for various building types, prepare construction documents, perform load calculations, and coordinate with architectural and electrical disciplines.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in HVAC and mechanical system design
- Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards, NYS Building Code, energy codes, and applicable industry standards
- Proficiency with HVAC design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, load calculation software)
- Experience with public and private sector projects preferred
- Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills
