Role OverviewThe Senior Mental Health Counselor provides clinical and rehabilitative services within Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey, Inc.'s OMH-licensed Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) program. The Senior Counselor delivers direct services to participants, supports individualized recovery planning, and supports leadership in promoting service quality, staff support, and recovery-oriented practice.
What You Will Do
Provide direct PROS services to assigned participants, facilitate individual and group services, manage caseload, collaborate with participants to develop and implement individualized recovery plans, and monitor participant progress.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation, or a related human services field, NYS professional licensure, and a minimum of 3 years of experience providing behavioral health or psychiatric rehabilitation services.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation, or a related human services field
- NYS professional licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience providing behavioral health or psychiatric rehabilitation services
- Experience in licensed programs preferred; PROS experience preferred
- Prior experience facilitating groups and working with individuals with serious mental illness preferred
