Role OverviewThe Senior Mobile Software Engineer, Android Performance will work closely with product and business teams to build new and innovative camera features for video posting on TikTok using the latest Android programming techniques. The role involves optimizing the performance of TikTok's next-generation camera technologies, collaborating with external mobile SoC/device/service partners, and delivering the best user experience on a huge variety of mobile platforms for TikTok creators around the world.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include working with product and business teams to build new camera features, profiling and optimizing Android application UI and infrastructure code for efficiency and performance, and staying on top of the latest technologies to turn the latest mobile audio/video production capabilities into the best UGC creator experience on TikTok.

Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related majors
- 5 years software development experience
- Solid coding skills with Java/Kotlin/C++ or demonstrated strong capabilities of learning new programming languages
