Role OverviewReviews and evaluates mortgage loan files to determine creditworthiness of applicants. Works with loan originators, processors, and closing staff to deliver clear underwriting conditions and final loan decisions. Analyzes borrower credit, income, assets, property, and potential risk factors to determine loan quality and repayment ability.
What You Will Do
Reviews loan files for sufficient documentation, communicates with loan teams, and analyzes borrower credit and risk factors. Prepares and signs approval letters and provides guidance on loan scenarios and documentation.

Requirements
- Five or more years of similar or related experience
- High school degree or GED
- Knowledge of mortgage loan interest rates, commitment/rate lock/relock fee procedures, member loan products/rates/guidelines, and loan origination software systems
