Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Network Engineer / Architect to support the ITMN Tactical Network. The Senior Network Engineer / Architect will support the implementation, optimization, and continued evolution of the ITMN Tactical Network infrastructure for SOCPAC. This senior-level technical role requires deep expertise in Cisco enterprise, service provider, and security technologies, hands-on network engineering experience, and the ability to work in highly classified DoD environments.
What You Will Do
Deploy, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Cisco-based network infrastructure supporting ITMN mission requirements. Provide expert-level engineering across routing, switching, segmentation, security, transport, and WAN edge technologies.

The engineer will act as a technical leader, providing routing, switching, security, and SD‐WAN guidance across the SOCPAC network ecosystem. Collaborate closely with SOCPAC stakeholders, Peraton, and internal mission partners to ensure network reliability, resilience, and alignment with operational needs.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance
- Cisco CCIE certification in one of the following disciplines: Enterprise Infrastructure, Routing & Switching, Security, Service Provider
- 8+ years hands-on Cisco network engineering experience, including designing, building, and maintaining complex DoD or government networks
- Expert‐level knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS‐IS, MPLS, Route Maps, Prefix Lists, Policy-Based Routing (PBR), Route Redistribution
- Experience with SD‐WAN (Cisco preferred)
- Strong understanding of Cisco IOS / XE / XR, Cisco Nexus switching platforms, Cisco ASA / FTD Firewalls, Cisco FMC, VPN technologies, Network segmentation
- Experience supporting classified government or DoD environments
- IAT Level II Certification
