Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Network Engineer for Operations and Maintenance to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The successful candidate will work in close coordination with team leads, project managers, network architects, and engineers from other service areas to provide Tier III support for the MDA Enterprise.
What You Will Do
The Senior Network Engineer will take part in daily/weekly/monthly Battle Rhythms contributing to maintenance checks and regular network services of the team. They will generate/provide status reports, provide network anomaly analysis, and develop engineering red lines as needed to support network maintenance actions, engineering changes/upgrades, and security vulnerabilities.

Requirements
- 10+ years of general (full-time) work experience
- 5+ years of directly related experience
- 6+ months of experience working in a management or leadership role
- experience with Internet Protocols (e.g. DNS, HTTP, SMTP, SSL)
- experience with Multiple network types (i.e. LAN, WAN, VxLAN, SDN)
- proficiency in routing and switching protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, STP, TCP/UDP)
- experience with routing and switching hardware (e.g. Cisco platforms, Palo Alto, KG-175 encryptors)
- experience with Open STIG vulnerability identification
- active DoW 8570 IAG Level II certification (e.g. Security+)
- active DoW Secret Security Clearance
