Role OverviewOneida Professional Services is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the Defense Information School (DINFOS) Technology & Logistics Support Services contract at Fort Meade, Maryland. The successful candidate will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for managing enterprise network environments, ensuring system availability, supporting cybersecurity initiatives, and implementing network modernization efforts.
What You Will Do
Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure supporting DINFOS operations. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, connectivity, routing, switching, and performance issues.

Requirements
- Extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network environments
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, network hardware, and enterprise networking concepts
- Demonstrated experience configuring, administering, and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and network controllers
- Extensive experience with Cisco networking technologies and equipment
- Thorough knowledge of Cisco routing and switching utilizing multiple VLANs across copper and fiber infrastructures
- Strong understanding of network protocols, application transport technologies, and network architecture principles
- Experience supporting network security initiatives and implementing security-focused network solutions
- Experience with disaster recovery, continuity of operations (COOP), data backup, and restoration activities
- Experience researching, evaluating, and recommending technology solutions and infrastructure improvements
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
