Senior Network Engineer

The Senior Network Engineer administers and supports the company's global data communications network. The position includes design, development, installation, proactive monitoring, optimization, maintenance, and support of all network hardware, software, policies, procedures, and associated systems.

What You Will Do

Develop fully executable network designs, troubleshoot escalated issues, communicate and coordinate network maintenance, and perform analysis of network needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in computer science, information systems, or related field of study
• Experience working in a multi-network, multi-protocol environment
• Cisco CCNP certification or extensive advanced network routing and switching experience
• Experience with OSPF/EIGRP/Spanning Tree protocols
• Experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocols
• Experience and comprehensive knowledge in two or more of the following areas: Cloud (Azure, AWS) networking, Routing and Switching, Security (Firewalls, Proxy technology), Wireless, Data Center, Video/Voice, SD-WAN
• Experience with Cisco ACI design, configuration, and operations
• Experience implementing and operating a security architecture that secures all corporate enterprise network edges (both ingress and egress)
• Experience creating and maintaining network topology, logical flow, and other required documentation with Visio or equivalent tool
• Strong understanding of network QOS methods, markings, and mitigation strategies
• Demonstrated experience conducting research and resolving issues across a wide range of networking, telephony, video, security, and wireless issues
• Experience with Network Sniffers to analyze data and resolve network issues
• Experience analyzing network performance data to identify trends/potential problems and providing recommendations to modify and/or upgrade network equipment or services
