Role OverviewThe Network Engineer provides assistance in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading existing networks. The candidate will analyze designs, specifications, and related documents, implement communications system requirements, and analyze network characteristics.
What You Will Do
The candidate will design solutions, integrate, configure, deploy, test, and provide support for numerous types of network devices, interfaces, and methodologies. They will optimize end-to-end system performance, dataflow management, and minimize network latency.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The candidate should have 6-8 years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, with expertise in network tools, security systems, and technical leadership. They should be able to resolve complex network problems, operate network analyzers, and design, implement, and evaluate security systems.
Requirements
- 6-8 years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- 4-5 years experience with Network Tools; What's Up Gold and NetFlow
- 3 years experience with DCID 6/3 and/or ICD 503
- 3 years experience creating firewall rule sets from analysis of network traffic
- 3 years experience with component validation of security devices
- 3 years experience integrating boundary solutions into customer networks
- 3 years experience configuring switches, routers, and firewalls
- 5 years' demonstrated experience in Computer Network Operations, Protection Level (PL) 3 high/high solutions utilizing Layer 2 to Layer 7
- TS/SCI with Poly Clearance
