Job Description
The NYC Department of Buildings is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to provide day-to-day operational support for the corporate network infrastructure, oversee monitoring, configuration, and issue resolution, and provide technical expertise in areas of Cisco WAN, LAN, VoIP, VPN, and WLAN technologies.

Requirements

  • A certificate from an accredited technical school with a specialization in computer operations, and two years of satisfactory full-time computer operations experience
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and three years of satisfactory full-time experience
  • A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and four years of satisfactory full-time experience
  • At least two years of full-time experience in a large-scale networked, multi-tired, or mainframe computer environment
