Job Description
The Senior Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as an experienced caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Requirements
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
Minimum age of 16.
Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.
Maintains all department specific required certifications.
