Role OverviewThe Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing precision opto-mechanical subsystems for high-performance quantum hardware. The role requires deep technical design and laboratory contributions, working closely with physicists and cross-disciplinary engineering teams.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will own opto-mechanical subsystems, execute on defined mechanical design and integration, and contribute to the physical implementation of emerging optical technologies. They will also collaborate with engineers to support the full experimental and hardware development lifecycle.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in optical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Extensive ownership-driven experience designing, modeling, and validating laser-based opto-mechanical systems
- Proficiency with SolidWorks for complex scalable system design and analysis
- Working knowledge of Zemax (OpticsStudio) for optical layouts and component selection validation
