Role Overview

The Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer will create Oracle procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and materialized views using advanced features of Oracle 11g and 12. The role involves ETL processing, data cleansing, data transformations, and loading huge data sets from multiple vendors. The developer will also work on performance tuning for existing SQL and PL/SQL objects, build optimized objects, and create complex Unix shell scripts to automate batch job processing.

What You Will Do

The Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer will perform logical and physical design of databases, data modeling, and design specifications to analyze dependencies and perform risk analysis. The role also involves developing and maintaining technical specifications, data mappings, program logic, and flowcharts for change requests. The developer will write complex queries to identify potential issues and remediate them, automate flat file loading to Oracle using SQL Loader, and create control files for that activity.
