Senior Packaging Designer

As the Senior Packaging Designer, you will play a critical role in ideating, developing, and executing best-in-class packaging design across all brands and product lines. You will work directly with the VP of Creative and Director of Art to bring brand strategies to life through innovative, commercially effective, and visually compelling packaging systems.

What You Will Do

Lead the concepting and design of packaging systems from initial ideation through production-ready execution, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and objectives. Develop innovative packaging concepts, structures, and visual identities that balance aesthetics, functionality, and shelf impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or related field
• 6–10+ years of experience in packaging design within a creative agency, CPG brand, or design-driven organization
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, structural packaging, and visual design excellence
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and packaging-specific workflows (dielines, prepress, production)
• Experience designing packaging from concept through production and manufacturing
• Proficiency or strong interest in AI-powered creative tools for concept generation, mockups, and workflow optimization
• Understanding of materials, printing processes, and sustainable packaging solutions
• Strong knowledge of branding, typography, color, and visual storytelling
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with external vendors, agencies, and production partners
