Senior PCB Designer

The Senior PCB Designer will execute PCB designs that meet electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements with a high degree of accuracy and completeness. The role requires strong fundamentals, attention to detail, and ownership of designs from initial placement through release.

What You Will Do

The Senior PCB Designer will serve as the subject matter expert for PCB layout and design, create library parts, execute multilayer PCB layouts, place and route components, and generate complete fabrication and assembly documentation.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or related field OR equivalent hands-on PCB layout experience
• Experience with OrCAD PCB Designer
• 5+ years of PCB layout experience
• Experience designing high frequency (up to 31 GHz) RF PCBs
• Demonstrated ownership of PCB layout process
• Working knowledge of Multilayer PCB construction, controlled impedance fundamentals, and grounding / return path behavior
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and operate in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across disciplines
• Familiarity with BluePrint and ODB++ generation preferred
• Experience with EMC and EMI mitigation preferred
• Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-6012, IPC-2221, IPC-7351) preferred
