Role Overview

As a Senior PE Control System Engineer, you will develop advanced electric drive controls solutions, validate and deliver controls software, and conduct advanced eDrive and vehicle system simulation. You will work in a team environment and mentor other control and software developers. The role is located in Fargo, ND or Cary, NC.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include developing advanced electric drive controls solutions, validating and delivering controls software, conducting advanced eDrive and vehicle system simulation, and interfacing with stakeholders to develop control system requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 4 or more years of experience in advanced power electronics and/or control algorithm development, demonstrated experience with simulation tools, and 3 or more years of hands-on power electronics and/or drivetrain testing experience.

Requirements

  • 4 or more years of experience in advanced power electronics and/or control algorithm development
  • Demonstrated experience with simulation tools for power electronics or electric drives
  • 3 or more years of hands-on power electronics and/or drivetrain testing experience (HIL, lab, field)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Relevant research experience in academic institutes
