Job Description
The Senior Planner will plan production, monitor short-term requirements, and review and maintain manufacturing orders. They will also recommend overtime, develop and maintain bill of materials and manufacturing routings, and conduct special VOC projects.

Requirements

  • Review customer orders and compare stock available
  • Schedule production accordingly
  • Monitor short-term requirements
  • Work with Operations and Purchasing to meet demands and expedite raw materials
  • Review and maintain manufacturing orders in VAI, D365, and Cat2 Maintenance
  • Recommend overtime based on inventory and customer orders
  • Develop and maintain bill of materials and manufacturing routings
  • Conduct special VOC projects to review departmental needs and timeliness of reporting
  • Validate production reports for schedule attainment and compliance
  • Set inventory levels using analysis techniques
  • Train team members on Manufacturing Systems and required steps
  • Assist Purchasing and Planning Team members as needed
  • Support the Offal & By Products side of the business by projecting monthly production levels and predicting future availability
