Job Description
STV’s Transportation South team is seeking a Senior Planner to serve as a strategic advisor across and at the intersection of public infrastructure, private development, community benefits, economic development and environmental stewardship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Urban/Regional Planning, Community Development, Public Policy, Civil Engineering (planning focus), Architecture/Urban Design, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in planning, community development, infrastructure advisory, or related consulting/client environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or co-leading charrettes and/or high-intensity public workshops with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation capability—able to guide groups through brainstorming, alternative development, and decision-making.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills; comfort translating complex inputs into crisp, executive-ready narratives and plans.
