Role OverviewThe Senior Principal Supplier Quality Engineer will drive the supply base to provide consistently high-quality parts to support customers. This role is instrumental in identifying and quantifying supplier performance as a proactive risk mitigation. The engineer will represent Northrop Grumman to the supply chain with credibility, confidence, and professionalism.
What You Will Do
The Senior Principal Supplier Quality Engineer will perform specification/drawing compliance reviews, first article inspections, and support receiving inspection on various categories of hardware. They will also analyze and interpret data to identify suppliers' process issues and develop solutions.

This role requires a strong understanding of quality requirements, supplier management, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience with ISO9001 and AS9100 requirements, root cause/corrective action investigations, and J-STD-001, IPC-A-600, 610, 620, or MIL-STD-883.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 or more years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing or Engineering
- Experience with ISO9001 and AS9100 Requirements
- US Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
