Role OverviewAs a Senior Privacy and AI Counsel, you will play a key role in maintaining and promoting a culture of privacy and security within the organization. You will collaborate closely with legal colleagues in the commercial team and our sales/Go-To-Market team, advise the engineering and product teams to ensure that our business practices adhere to privacy laws and regulations globally, and partner closely with the security function to safeguard and maintain the integrity of our data.
What You Will Do
You will assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Data Processing Agreements with our customers, subprocessors, service providers, and third-parties. You will also help develop, maintain, and scale global privacy programs, including preparing Data Protection Impact Assessments to identify and mitigate privacy risks and Records of Processing in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 8+ years of post-qualification experience in privacy and data protection
- Proven expertise in U.S. and E.U. data protection law, with familiarity across global compliance frameworks
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the confidence to represent Harvey on matters relating to data privacy, AI, and security
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across legal and business teams
- Highly responsive and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution
