Role Overview

The Senior Process Controls Engineer plays a critical role in supporting Olin's business objectives by leading complex automation projects, including control system modernization, safety systems, and advanced process automation solutions. The role partners with operations, engineering, MES, and external stakeholders to implement standardized automation strategies and support enterprise-wide automation initiatives.

What You Will Do

Lead end-to-end automation project execution, including planning, commissioning, startup, and risk management. Design and implement advanced process control (APC), DeltaV DCS, and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) solutions.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must possess a valid US driver's license and be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). Prior Olin experience preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of process automation experience in chemical manufacturing environments.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS, including development and implementation of control strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience leading automation implementations, control system modernizations, small capital projects, or major project workstreams.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, system integrators, and project stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting project commissioning, startup, or system cutovers.
  • Must possess a valid US driver's license and be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
