Job Description
7th Avenue is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer to lead the technical ownership and engineering development of our furniture systems. This role involves full CAD control, manufacturing documentation, structural validation, and development of mechanical systems including recliners and modular sleeper mechanisms.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-10 years experience in furniture systems or mechanical product development
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Engineering, or related field
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent parametric CAD software
  • Experience with steel fabrication and weldments
  • Experience creating full manufacturing drawing packages
  • Strong understanding of tolerances and fabrication processes
  • Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners
