Role Overview

As a Senior Engineering Manager and Operations Portfolio Leader, you will champion the NPI Ops Mission: delivering sustainable, scalable, and profitable supply chains that enable the next generation of care for cranial and spine patients. You will represent Operations on new product introduction project core teams, providing strategic leadership to an extended team spanning Manufacturing Operations (software and hardware), Supply Chain Planning, Category Management, Sourcing, Contract Manufacturers/OEMs, Supplier Quality, and other critical functions.

What You Will Do

You'll be responsible for all operational aspects—including value stream selection, planning, execution, and successful implementation of activities throughout the development and commercialization of new products. Your mission: ensure the voice of Operations, both strategic and tactical, is fully integrated, project commitments and contract metrics are achieved, and progress is communicated with clarity and urgency.

Requirements

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience
