Role OverviewThe Senior Product Engineer will work on designing, building, and launching public-facing products for New Yorkers. The role involves working with a team to move from problem statements to working products and services, writing code across systems, integrating with city agency data sources and legacy systems, and leading modern engineering practices for the team.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include designing and building applications from concept to launch, moving quickly through prototyping and iteration, building integrations with government data sources, and coordinating with the wider OTI team on hosting and performance testing.

Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics or related field
- Six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, network architecture and/or IT infrastructure systems
- Or a baccalaureate degree and ten years of satisfactory full-time experience related to enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, network architecture and/or IT infrastructure systems
