Role OverviewJoin a diverse team of engineers and specialists to design, plan, and operate AWS global infrastructure. Collaborate with people across AWS to deliver high standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for customers.
What You Will Do
Support AWS data centers' liquid cooling infrastructure, work with product development teams, and maintain engineering ownership throughout operational life.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will possess strong engineering judgment, be detail-oriented, and have experience engineering air handling, piping, and/or pumping products.
Requirements
- 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience
- Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
- Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
