Job Description
Kroger Precision Marketing (KPM) is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of its AI Platform team. The team is responsible for bringing safe, scalable AI to market across KPM's brand-facing platforms. The successful candidate will own end-to-end initiatives, build reusable AI tooling, and consult with teams to align strategies and ensure consistent and safe AI shipping. Responsibilities include building a game plan, picking the right bets, staying ahead of the market, having a point of view, staying curious, getting close to users, shipping with momentum, proving and improving, making it stick, scaling capabilities, telling the story, and being the go-to partner.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of product management experience
  • Familiarity with the AI/ML product lifecycle, including data readiness, model development, deployment, monitoring, and governance
  • Working knowledge of prompting, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent patterns and skills, and quality and safety evaluation
  • Ability to set priorities and drive execution independently
  • Ability to make calls, clarify tradeoffs, and create clarity in ambiguity
  • Experience partnering with Experience Design, Data Science, Engineering, and Agile Delivery
  • Ability to translate between technical and business teams, manage stakeholders, and raise risks early with context and options
  • Ability to define success, measure outcomes, and iterate based on real signal
  • A humble, direct leadership style, comfortable saying 'I don't know,' and confident leading toward an answer
  • Ability to move fast within security, governance, and complex stakeholder environments
