Role Overview

ASCO is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead product definition and development for a dedicated squad, acting as the customer advocate for the organization’s core financial integrity and compliance systems. The role will prioritize product backlog epics, features, and stories across core financial streams, including Accounting, Grants & Project Management, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Financial Close, and Budgeting & Planning.

What You Will Do

The Senior Product Owner will act as the voice of the customer, strategically prioritizing product backlog epics, features, and stories. They will work with the Business Analysts to draft concise epics, features, and stories, and ensure all required metadata is captured to enable an accurate product roadmap and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have 7-8+ years of progressive professional experience in financial systems management, ERP product ownership, or business architecture, and 4+ years of direct experience leading the implementation, optimization, configuration, and support of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 7-8+ years of progressive professional experience in financial systems management, ERP product ownership, or business architecture
  • 4+ years of direct experience leading the implementation, optimization, configuration, and support of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules
  • Hands-on proficiency utilizing product management tools (such as Jira, Jira Product Discovery, and Confluence)
  • Strong ability to articulate technical and financial concepts or plans, and facilitate working sessions with cross-functional teams and high-level stakeholders
