Role OverviewWork within the Office of the Medical Director and in collaboration with other offices to sustain existing EMS programs, advance those under development, and initiate new opportunities to further prehospital emergency medical care in the City of Boston. This role requires strong administrative, analytical, organization, and communication skills to manage complex projects, build partnerships, ensure program quality, and promote health equity across the City of Boston.
What You Will Do
Lead administrative duties, monitor program performance, leverage input and feedback, conduct field observations, use evidence to optimize service design, develop briefing materials, support contracts and budgets, coordinate with external partners, and work with partner agencies to ensure documentation and information sharing.

Requirements
- Master's degree in related field OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years related work experience
- Self-directed individual with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to perform complex tasks and manage multiple projects
- Experience with basic data analysis; proficient in using data to inform decisions
- Ability to create or develop skill set in data visualization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
- Proficiency in Power BI, RedCap, other program management tools is preferred
- Knowledge of Boston's healthcare system, including available behavioral health and substance use disorder resources, is preferred
- Skilled in multi-modal communication; able to resolve conflicts to foster continued productive partnerships
- Skilled in facilitating decision-making and using tools and technologies to maintain engagement, move projects forward, and document decisions
- Comfortable working under pressure and strict deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills that support activities to improve individual, program, and organizational performance
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn about the role of public health in addressing racism, the social determinants of health, and inequities in health outcomes as well as strategies to advance racial justice and health equity
