Senior Project Engineer - Architectural Millwork

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer – Architectural Millwork to oversee the technical engineering and development of high-end custom millwork projects. This role focuses on translating architectural designs, field conditions, and client requirements into accurate, production-ready engineering packages for luxury residential and architectural interiors.

What You Will Do

Lead the technical engineering and development of custom architectural millwork projects from design through fabrication and installation. Develop and review detailed shop drawings, production drawings, cut lists, and fabrication documentation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in architectural millwork engineering, drafting, or technical design
• Strong background in high-end or luxury residential millwork
• Proven experience engineering custom cabinetry, casework, closets, countertops, architectural woodwork, or similar products
• Advanced ability to produce shop drawings and production-ready drawings
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, AlphaCAM, Rhino, KCD, or comparable software
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, construction documents, design details, and field measurements
• Thorough knowledge of millwork materials, hardware, joinery, construction methods, fabrication, and installation
• Experience collaborating directly with manufacturing and shop teams to resolve technical issues
• Previous experience providing technical leadership or mentoring junior designers, drafters, or engineers is preferred
• Luxury residential construction or custom home experience is highly desirable
