Role Overview

The Senior Project Engineer for the Program Delivery Office will be responsible for managing Utility Coordination for supporting design and construction projects within the Trolley Modernization Program and supporting other projects as assigned. This position will be responsible for undertaking engineering assignments that are considered to be of significant complexity in size and scope.

What You Will Do

The Senior Project Engineer will consult with managerial level as necessary in project/program definition, exercise proper judgment in application of advanced engineering and quality assurance principles, and assist in preparation of budgets for proposed projects/programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in relevant engineering field, e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, etc.
  • Seven (7) years of proven relevant engineering experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner while working with all levels of personnel including outside agency personnel
  • Understanding of construction project management techniques
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in CAD
  • Familiarity with various types of engineering software
  • Master's degree or PMP preferred
