Job Description
Senior Project Engineer position at JE Dunn Construction. Responsible for performing assigned aspects of safety and quality plans, coordinating with project QA/QC planning, and participating in estimating and change management processes. Leads the preparation of estimates, makes decisions on subcontractor selection, and coordinates purchase orders. Oversees project risks, manages production statistics, and coordinates meetings. Provides training and mentorship to others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field
  • 3+ years construction experience
  • Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner
  • Communications skills, verbal and written
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of organizational structure and available resources
  • Ability to apply fundamentals of the means and methods of construction management
  • Proficiency in project management and accounting software
  • Knowledge of Lean process and philosophy
  • Knowledge of self-perform and labor productivity
  • Ability to assess and optimize project productivity
