Senior Project Engineer

Lead engineering design projects on large, complex projects, applying knowledge of engineering to design roadway improvements for streets, highways, and interstates. Collaborate with design team members and stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential conflicts. Develop stakeholder exhibits and coordinate with reviewers to verify accuracy and quality of work.

What You Will Do

Lead engineering design projects, apply engineering knowledge to design roadway improvements, communicate work and ideas through drawings, documents, and verbal interaction. Provide feedback and input to project managers, coordinate with other disciplines, and develop stakeholder exhibits.

Why It Might Be a Fit

10+ years of roadway design experience, B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Professional Engineering license in Utah or ability to obtain within 6 months. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineering license in Utah or ability to obtain within 6 months
• 10+ years of roadway design experience
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
• Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience using MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, Microsoft Excel, and other applications typically used by roadway design professionals
