Role OverviewSaiful Bouquet is an innovative structural engineering firm seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their team in Downtown Los Angeles or San Diego. The Senior Project Engineer will design and detail structural systems for large, complex structures in various market sectors, primarily Type I construction. The role involves coordinating with BIM designers, architects, and other consultants, working directly with a Project Manager and a team of structural engineers in a dynamic office environment.

Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of building design experience
- Experience in a wide variety of structural materials and building types with emphasis on design of larger steel and concrete structures in multiple market sectors
- SE license is a plus
- Experience with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD is a plus
- Experience with seismic evaluation and retrofit of existing buildings using ASCE 41 is a plus
- Master’s degree from a US university in structural engineering is highly desirable
- Strong communication and people skills, and team players required
