Senior Project Lead, Legal

As Senior Project Lead for the legal vertical, you will sit at the intersection of law, AI, and operations, defining what 'correct' looks like in legal AI. You will partner directly with frontier AI labs to scope and deliver legal datasets and evaluations that improve how models reason about the law.

What You Will Do

Own legal-domain engagements with frontier AI lab researchers end to end, from scoping to delivery. Define quality standards and rubrics for what a correct legal answer looks like across practice areas. Translate lab requirements into clear specifications for legal datasets and evaluations.

Requirements

• JD or equivalent legal qualification.
• 3+ years practicing law at a leading firm, in-house at a sophisticated company, at a government or regulatory body, or at a legal AI startup.
• A substantive legal track record in drafting, negotiating, litigating, or advising, with deep command of legal reasoning and research methodology.
• Comfort working with data and AI tools.
• High agency in ambiguous environments and a competitive track record.
• A collaborative, humble, low-ego working style with strong client-facing skills.
• Bonus: Python or hands-on data analysis; legal technology, e-discovery, or contract analytics experience; technically demanding practice areas such as securities, antitrust, tax, or patent prosecution; multi-jurisdictional experience.
