Role Overview

Join Leidos Engineering's Power Delivery Solutions division as a Senior Project Manager. Oversee a portfolio of diverse Substation projects, report to senior leadership, and drive special initiatives. Collaborate with team members to provide Project Management Services to electric utility clients.

Lead a team of project managers, manage overall portfolio performance, drive strategic initiatives, mentor and develop project management staff, and interface with clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance or Related field
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant Project Management experience in the electric power industry or associated field with BS Degree OR minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience with a Master's degree
  • Previous experience working with electric utilities required
  • Must demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the electric power industry/electric power infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated experience working with project financials, bid proposals and cost estimates
  • Demonstrated experience with portfolio management, contract management and risk mitigation
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on portfolio management and team development
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Workfront, MS Project, P6) and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to travel periodically as required, so candidates should possess a valid US driver's license
