Job Description
As the Senior Project Manager Electrical, you will provide overall oversight for the development, engineering, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout processes for small to mid-scale CORE Electrical projects. You will provide critical project related information to management to allow for appropriate decision making and coordinates a small team of technical staff.
Requirements
Accountable for project’s performance (scope, safety, quality, schedule, risk and cost) and end-user/client satisfaction
Ensure organizational objectives are translated into the department’s activities in collaboration with internal partners
Effective management of project change and risk and providing regular updates to management and stakeholders
Completion of a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Pipelines, Construction, or other related field
A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience. 5 years project experience is preferred
Strong working understanding of project management methods and techniques, PMP certification or equivalent is an asset
Strong leadership and management, including organizational and planning skills
Effective and professional interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with peers, management, internal/external partners, vendors, and service providers
Valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire
