Role OverviewAECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager Lead to support a major public-sector client and provide leadership across a portfolio of complex capital projects. The Senior Project Manager Lead will oversee and guide consultant project teams, help ensure consistent project delivery and quality, and serve as a key point of coordination between AECOM, other consultant partners, and the client’s Facilities Services organization.
What You Will Do
Supervise and direct assigned consultant project teams across a portfolio of concurrent capital projects spanning acquisition, performance criteria, and design-build phases. Enforce consistent project controls across all firms represented in the portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant construction, engineering, and/or project management experience, with a strong background in directing multiple concurrent capital projects at the portfolio level, and experience as an owner’s representative or lead project manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant construction, engineering, and/or project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- 20+ years of relevant experience
- Five (5) years of experience supervising project management staff or multi-firm consultant teams
- Demonstrated experience directing multiple concurrent capital projects at the portfolio level, with an aggregate program value of $500 million or greater
- Demonstrated Design-Build delivery experience as an owner’s representative or lead project manager
- Large-scale public-sector capital program experience strongly preferred; California state or judicial branch experience is a plus
- Familiarity with public capital budget processes, including Capital Outlay Budget Change Proposals and Department of Finance review, preferred
